Ian is Claire's partner. They live together in Fife with all their dogs and other animals.
Ian looks after the dogs who aren't being shown, when the Cusidhs are on tour. He is a highly trained dog walker and feeder. His lurcher Bhurkie holds a special place in his heart.
Ian is a Professor in History at The Open University .
