In training for SKC 2010

Banrigh, Righ and Rashie went for a seaside trip to Elie, Fife just before the SKC Championship show. Here are a few photos of the day. At the show the boys did well with Righ (Cusidh Righ Innse Gall) winning his fifth Championship Show first place in a row in Yearling Dog. His cousins Ronnan (Cusidh Homecoming) and Rhymer (Cusidh Gaidhealtachd) were first and second respectively in Puppy Dog. Cusidh Caol Muile (Truly Scrumptious) who is owned by Alison Foote and Gordon Crossan was second in Yearling Bitch but most importantly Maggie (Cusidh Eilid) qualified for Crufts with a 3rd in Puppy Bitch.

Drawing Down the Moon to Cuidh at Home Banrigh (Ch Drawing Down the Moon to Cusidh) receives her fourth CC, this time from Dr Sarah Helps at the Hound Association Show, Stafford, August 2010. Thank you everyone for your kind messages and well done Banrigh.

Banrigh's nephew and niece RIgh and Rashie both received firsts at the show in Yearling Dog and Yearling Bitch.

The Crufts trophy has landed

Well Banrigh's BOB trophy from Crufts has arrived. It's amazing but does require a bigger house, but, don't worry we do take it back inside!

Congratulations to breeder David Lyon from Inverness whose bitch Kessock Ema has just had a litter of eight pups born 3rd July 2010. Our Cusidh Righ Innse Gall is the sire and this is his first litter. Kessock Ema is from Greystiel Loch Ashie x Tartraven Papa Stronsay and this mating links the pedigrees back via Glantanmoor Gairloch Greystiel who was the brother of Righ's Gt, Gt, Gt Grandfather Ch Glantanmoor Ga'ick Greystiel.

Border Union, Kelso, 2010

The youngsters did well at Border Union 2010 with Cusidh Gaidhealtachd winning Puppy Dog and Best Puppy. Cusidh Righ Innse Gall won Postgraduate Dog and his sisters Cusidh Perchance to Dream and Cusidh Caol Muile were placed second and fourth in Novice respectively.

Maggie (Cusidh Eilid) though decided it was far too hot! Thanks to Mr and Mrs Crossan for this great photo and help at the show.

Introducing a New Team Cusidh

For years our winning team and/or brace has been sisters Banrigh, Creubhag and Kee Kee. However, the breed show 2010 saw the debut performance of a new Team Cusidh and Banrigh has been joined by her niece and nephew. Here they are pictured from left to right Rashie (Cusidh Perchance to Dream), Righ (Cusidh Righ Innse Gall) and Banrigh (Ch Drawing Down the Moon to Cusidh). Click here to see Team results.
